Firstly, thank you for being a part of the Koru Nutrition family. We hope that in this time of ever changing circumstances that you and your family are holding up ok.
We know there is a lot of information out there about Covid-19 and it can all be a bit overwhelming.
As New Zealand’s status lifts to Level 3 and to Level 4 in the coming days, we thought it was important to give you an update on how our business is working to keep supporting you, our community, our staff and our retail partners and pharmacies.
In short, it’s business as usual as we continue to supply and send Koru Nutrition products.
Please read on to find out more about our current situation – we will continue to regularly update this information as the situation unfolds.
Firstly, we wanted to send our love to you all during this testing time that we’re living through. We know that this pandemic is affecting people in ways we could never have imagined. We hope you’re taking care of yourself both physically and mentally and allowing time to be outside and to look after yourself.
Like all businesses we are following Government advice and have already made changes to protect our staff, while also making sure there are minimal disruptions to our service.
We’re a small, tight-knit team based in Christchurch New Zealand and all of our office-based staff are now working from home.
Currently, two members of our team (Molly & Andre) are still hard at work in our warehouse processing your orders. Andre and Molly are husband and wife, so they’re able to continue working together to get your orders out. No one else is in our office or warehouse.
All of our products are manufactured right here in New Zealand. In dispatch we’re taking extra steps to ensure your safety when we’re packing your orders, which includes regular hand washing/sanitising and wiping down surfaces with antibacterial sprays. We’re making sure that our packed orders are placed ready for pick up at a safe distance for our couriers to collect so there is no human to human contact.
We’ve been in regular contact with our fantastic couriers to monitor the situation, and right now it’s business as usual. Courier services are considered an “essential service” so all of our shipments are being picked up and delivered as usual. Both of our couriers have comprehensive plans in place to ensure the safety of customers and staff, while also trying to minimise any disruption.
